Business Scheme
Section 75 of the Government of Wales Act 2006 requires the Welsh Government to produce a Scheme that sets out how it intends to consult with business (including trade unions). The Business Scheme was issued for consultaion on 1st February 2008 and the final version was laid before the National Assembly for Wales on 8th October 2008.
The Business Scheme sets out the principles for effective engagement with the social partners and confirms the importance of the Council for Economic Renewal (formerly the Business Partnership Council).
