Business Partnership Council (BPC)
The BPC was established to provide a forum for consultation with the social partners and brings together representives from business (including social enterprise), the trade unions and the Welsh Assembly Government.
The BPC is chaired by the First Minister and usually meets three times per year.
The date for the next BPC meeting is 18 November 2009.
Business Scheme
Section 75 of the Government of Wales Act 2006 requires the Welsh Assembly Government to produce a Scheme that sets out how it intends to consult with business (including trade unions). The Business Scheme was issued for consultaion on 1st February 2008 and the final version was laid before the National Assembly for Wales on 8th October 2008.

The Business Scheme sets out the principles for effective engagement with the social partners and confirms the importance of the BPC.
